Punjab is a region straddling the border between India and Pakistan.

Punjab literally means "five rivers"; descending from the Himalayas these five rivers, which cross the region, have always favored the agricultural activity of this area, which having a wide variety of foods available gives life to a rich cuisine, to which the invention is also due of the traditional Tandoor oven.

The Tandoor is a clay oven, in the shape of a jar, in which the heat reaches even 480 ° C.

The foods are inserted from above with a spit, leaving them suspended above the embers.

Cooking is fast and healthy, fats melt and end at the bottom; no condiments are required, if not a marinade in yogurt and spices to make meat and fish tender and tasty.

In the Tandoor are also cooked the many and tasty varieties of bread, typical of Indian tradition.

The bread, similar in shape to a muffin, is attached to the inner wall of the oven and very quickly produces a fragrant bread with an unmistakable taste, perfect to accompany every dish.

The dishes cooked at Tandoor are ideal for every palate and also excellent for children.
